Privacy policy

Last updated 10 June 2026

This policy explains how The Group Three, operating the SaaS marketing practice at tg3company.com (TG3, we, us), collects and handles personal data when you visit this site or contact us. It covers visitors and prospective clients in the US, UK, Canada and the EU.

1. Data we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a contact or audit form, book a call or email us, we collect your name, work email, company, role and anything you choose to tell us about your needs.

Information we collect automatically. When you browse the site we collect standard analytics data through cookies and similar tools, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source and approximate location. We use this to understand traffic and improve the site.

2. How we use your data

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide the service or audit you asked for.
  • Operate, secure and improve the website.
  • Send marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them, you can opt out at any time.
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR and UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (to run and improve the business in ways that do not override your rights), performance of a contract (to deliver services you engage us for) and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including website hosting, analytics, email and CRM tools. They may only use it to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

We operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including outside the UK and EEA. Where we transfer data across borders we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet legal and accounting requirements or to resolve disputes. Enquiry and client records are kept for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@tg3company.com.

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If the CCPA applies, you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion and opt out of any sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to measure how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. A full list is in our cookie policy.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This site is meant for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
